Precious Years maintains constant collaboration and communication with parents in order to prepare each child for social and academic success.

Our children receive individual and group attention to promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

Children are encouraged to participate in planned as well as spontaneous and meaningful activities for their age and developmental level under the guidance and supervision of our staff.

TODDLERS

Emphasis is on nurturing with prompt and loving attention. Toddler areas are designed so that all physical development – climbing, sitting, pulling, standing, and walking. Toys and equipment are provided on every area to encourage your child’s natural curiosity in a fun and active learning environment.

TWO’S

The development program involves puppets, songs and finger plays, stories and learning experiences that will develop the senses and stimulate learning.

Monthly themes such as “Friendship and Feelings”, “Farm Life”, and “My Family” are used.
The curriculum provides the framework for a complete learning environment that children need to learn and grow in knowledge.

PRESCHOOL (3-4 YEAR OLD)

In the preschool class we use the creative curriculum. Weekly and bi-weekly themes are used. Examples are “Community Helpers”, “Transportation”, “Animals”, “All About Me”, and many more.
Extensive use of learning center education is provided. Preschoolers learn best through play and direct involvement, and plenty of play experiences are insured for optimum intellectual growth.
Activities which promote language, math, science,and art development are engaged in by this group.

VPK (4-5 YEAR OLD)

Precious Years is a Florida VPK provider. Florida’s Free Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) Program is designed to prepare four-year-olds for kindergarten and build the foundation for their educational success.

The Florida VPK mission is to ensure that all children are intellectually, emotionally, physically, and socially ready to enter school and ready to learn.

AFTER SCHOOL CARE

Our after school program for ages 5-10 years old offers a safe, stimulating environment and one-time transportation from local schools close to our center.

The after school program follows a daily routine; the children have the opportunity to have supervised and review homework time, reinforce concepts in computer centers, and participate in art activities and games.

A mid-afternoon snack is provided.

DISCOVERY CAMPS (ages 5-10)

Precious Years offers a Spring, Summer and Winter Camp. This camp promotes a plan for vacation where activities are scheduled to different sites such as: movies, water and recreational parks, museums, playgrounds, and locations with hands-on activities.

Field trips are provided for children ages 5-10.

DISCOVERY CAMP FOR JUNIORS (ages 2-5)

This camp provides your child fun, exciting and educational indoor activities such as: art & crafts, cooking, science experiments, face painting, bounce houses, sand and water play, movies, etc.
